I bought my first New Kids cassette
Played it all the time
Locked up in my bedroom
It was the summer of ‘89

Went to my first real concert
I was anxious for it to start
The show was truly amazing
I’ll never forget that part

It seems like it was forever
And if I had the choice

Those were the best days of my life.

The years slipped by us
And the friendships too
Other groups came and went
Just like they always do

The all night slumber parties
I thought those friends would last forever
But the 5 guys from Boston

We were living life
